摘要: I will outline the K-theory of C*-algebras and describe how the classical Fredholm Index Theory of bounded linear operators over Hilbert space is generalized to the content of C*-algebras as non-commutative topological objects. Some related open problems will also be discussed.

报告人简介：张爽教授是美国辛辛那提大学数学系主任，毕业于普渡大学，在算子代数与算子理论领域从事研究工作多年，发表该高水平文章几十篇。
