摘要:In this talk, I will discuss the modulus of continuity estimates for quasilinear and fully nonlinear parabolic equations: the moduli of continuity of solutions to parabolic equations are subsolutions of suitable equations of one space variable. Then I will discuss two main applications:  sharp time-interior gradient estimates and lower bounds of the first nonzero eigenvalue of the Laplacian on manifolds. The talk is based on several works, some of which are joint work with Dr. Kui Wang at Soochow University.

简介:李小龙博士2017毕业于美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校数学系，导师为Lei Ni教授和Bennett Chow教授。2017-2020在美国加州大学尔湾分校担任访问助理教授，合作导师为Richard Schoen教授。现在加拿大麦克马斯特大学担任Britton博士后。研究领域为几何分析，特别是Ricci流，非线性偏微分方程，特征值估计等方向。
