摘  要:：In 1957 Alfréd Rényi generalized the usual integer base expansions to non-integer bases. This led to interesting and deep problems in number theory, combinatorics, set theory, probability, measure and ergodic theory, symbolic dynamics and topology. Here we mostly discuss the uniqueness of expansions. The talk is based on joint research with Paul Erdős, István Joó, Paola Loreti, Attila Pethő, Martijn de Vries, Martine Baatz, Derong Kong and Wenxia Li.

报告人简介： Vilmos Komornik 法国Strasbourg大学教授，匈牙利科学院外籍院士。曾获得国际奥林匹克数学竞赛金牌，匈牙利Grunwald Geza奖章。到目前为止Komornik教授在JEMS、Adv.Math.、JMPA等一流数学杂志发表高水平SCI论文近200篇，出版专著2部，撰写4本教科书（分别以英语、法语、匈牙利语、葡萄牙语出版）。其研究涉及数学很多领域，其中包括数论中的组合理论、偏微分方程控制论、逼近优化、凸分析以及经典分析、调和分析和非调和分析、matching理论、几何等。以他的名字命名的Komornik-Loreti常数在组合数论领域被频繁使用。
