摘要：In this talk we will discuss several recent results on first eigenvalues of closed hyperbolic surfaces for large genus. For example, we show that a random hyperbolic surface of large genus has first eigenvalue greater thanextending Mirzakhani's lower bound 0.0024. This talk is based on several joint works with Yuhao Xue.

简介：吴云辉，清华大学数学系、丘成桐数学中心副教授。“海外高层次青年人才”入选者。2012年博士毕业于美国布朗大学，2012-2016年担任美国莱斯大学“Evens讲席教师”，2016年至今任职于清华大学。吴云辉在Teichmüller理论及其相关的复分析与几何拓扑等研究领域取得了一系列重要成果。相关工作被Amer. J. Math., Crelle’s Journal., Geom. Funct. Anal., J. Differential Geom., Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.等国际一流数学期刊接收。
