摘要：We present the theory of division R-rings with special emphasis on the case where R is a group algebra. We discuss the main open problems  and recent advances in the area and explain several unexpected applications.

简介：Andrei Jaikin 于 1995 年在莫斯科国立大学获得第一个数学博士学位，并于 2001 年在巴斯克大学获得第二个数学博士学位。Andrei Jaikin 是群论专家，在高质量的研究期刊上发表过一系列文章，如Annals of Mathematics, Inventiones Mathematicae, Journal of the AMS, Forum of Mathematics (Sigma), Duke Mathematical Journal, GAFA。 他曾受邀在牛津大学、希伯来大学、剑桥大学或玛丽女王学院等世界上一些最负盛名的大学进行全体讲座和研讨会。在 2010-2016 年期间，Andrei Jaikin 是 Journal of Group Theory 的编辑，现在他是RMI和Journal of Algebra的编辑。
