摘要：McMullen and Lyubich’s dichotomy theorem states that any meromorphic function is either ergodic or attracted by its post-singular set. However, for a given map, it is not obvious to determine which case applies. In this talk, we give a definite answer to the following meromorphic functions with a sphere Julia set:

1. If all asymptotic values are prepoles, it is NOT ergodic.

2. If at least one of them is preperiodic, and the rest are prepoles, it is ergodic.

This is a joint work with Yunping Jiang and Linda Keen.  

简介：陈涛，现任纽约市立大学（CUNY）数学教授、博士生导师，2013年博士毕业于纽约市立大学数学所，导师为蒋云平教授与 Linda Keen教授。主要研究兴趣为Complex Analysis, Holomorphic Dynamics, Teichmuller Theory，特别是有两个渐进值的亚纯函数的参数空间。
