摘要：Professor Zhiying Wen posed the following problem: how can we find a necessary and sufficient condition for a trapezoid to be a self-similar set with the open set condition. In this talk, I will introduce some results on this problem. Motivated by Wen’s problem, we also investigate a bounded region with the Jordan curve as it boundary. Consequently, we can judge whether many classical geometric shapes are self-similar sets. Curvatures of curves are essential to this problem.
