摘要：Orthogonalities are binary relations on normed linear spaces that coincide with the orthogonality in inner product spaces. Various types of orthogonality, e.g., Roberts orthogonality, Birkhoff orthogonality, isosceles orthogonality, and Pythagorean orthogonality, have been introduced since 1934. In this talk we present several recent characterizations of inner product spaces, which are partially related to the unsolved Banach-Mazur Rotation Problem, in terms of orthogonalities and linear operators.

简介：吴森林，中北大学教授、博士生导师，哈尔滨理工大学兼职博士生导师，2009年于德国开姆尼兹工业大学取得博士学位，主要研究方向包括Banach空间理论与凸和离散几何。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、青年科学基金项目1项、博士后科学基金特别资助项目和面上项目各1项、德国DFG合作交流项目3项、德国DAAD访问学者项目1项，曾获黑龙江省科学技术奖二等奖和三等奖各1项，发表学术论文50余篇, 其中近43篇被SCI收录, 1篇曾入选ESI高被引论文。
